Martinican chocolate since 1911.
The taste of ELOT Chocolate is unique and its recipe consists exclusively of products from the earth, totally natural: cocoa from beans grown, for 50%, in Martinique, which brings to chocolate ELOT its finesse and the qualities of the Martinican terroir . The recipe also contains natural vanilla and brown sugar Galion, from the canes of Martinique. Elot feast chocolate is a classic of Martinique parties. This chocolate can be drunk with an excellent brioche bread as an accompaniment. Communion chocolate is a tradition and a typical recipe of Martinique.
The GALION sugar refinery is the last sugar production unit in Martinique. Built from 1861 to 1865, it takes its name from its proximity to the Galion River, which served as a place of supply of drinking water at its mouth the Spanish galleons.
In addition to sugar, GALION produces two types of rums (including GRAND AROME rum, the world's only producer). The marketing is under the brand GRAND FOND GALION for rums and LE GALION for sugar.
